Kei's actually are pretty solid around the corners... Japanese roads are a lot less straight than North America's, and the bulk of the weight in these things is pretty low. Honda Fits look pretty tall too, yet they can out slalom a lot of "sports" cars.
I saw this whole car on the street in Vancouver -- they were shooting a commercial for it a block away from my house -- and the model badge definitely said "3.5SR". (They also shot one of the first Nissan Rogue commercials in almost the same spot a few years back; they had the street covered in snow even though it was August, and the Civic Hybrid commercial was shot just up the street too.)
I should have snapped a pic, but honestly, it didn't look vastly different from the current model, so it didn't even hit me it was redesigned, until I saw the same car with camo on the hood later in the day.
There are some weird lines, but nothing that wouldn't be fixed if Renault-Nissan were to make this as a wagon variant of the Altima in North America -- Altima's nice looking front end would vastly improve this machine. Not that it'll ever happen but one can dream...
I'd love to see the Sportwagen/Variant/Wagon (it's just "Jetta Wagon" here in Canada; we don't get the cool US badging) in GTD form. I heard that over 50% of all wagons sold here in Canada are the TDI, so it makes sense that more than a few people might want a sportier version of it... (I know at least one!)
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"

Kidding, I like it but the curves really remind me of some of Hyundai's latest work...
