Proposal: Let "Too Big To Fail" (assets over 1 trillion/year) companies fail. Use the bail-out money for start-up entrepreneurs w/ a certified business & accounting plan (must employee at least 3 people). Like in Germany, let the government offer a $4000 rebate towards a new car if you certified that your current car (9 years or older) is crushed. Nationalize only the home loans (from the bail-out banks) at 3.5% with good credit ratings, 5% for the others, fixed. Only then, raise the national interest rate (slowly), and (slowly) put the brakes on printing money.

I hope I win!
Hmmm... don't know much about these, but can they open up pic attachments or pdf attachments?
Despite the Bose-bashing, they may have got it right this time. Esp. the SACD, 5.1 in the car, which seems like a natural choice since even the dullest of cars have a minimum of 4 speakers.
Aside from the price, this is really an awesome keyboard. I own an OLED watch, and the display is amazing. True, the $12 per key is expensive. If this keyboard is to be successful, each key would have to cost under $2 (assuming a its a 101 keyboard).
I don't know where steveMB got his, but you can go here for a lot of these gadgets (select sample). eBay is a very good source too.

I bought one of these dudes, and it's not bad. Lots of compliments on the time display. Very sharp and bright OLED display. And it was cheap (1GB) The disadvantages: (1) Military time only, (2) NVX video format is very large (about 3 times bigger than a AVI), (3) MP3 playback is very good, but every 4 minutes or so, you'll hear a slight hiccup, (4) I charge this overnight, starts at 5:00AM but the battery is drained by 5:00PM - where time display is always on, (5) Finally, instructions were generated from a translator program, (6) Menu buttons are slightly awkward. Here's my YouTube of the watch:

Finally! The last big holdup in data processing speeds is seriously recognized. I hope others follow for even faster drives.
Put the mute on!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
