@anthology Wow, you're completely 100% wrong. It is in fact UNergonomic to rest your palm on any mouse. You should you your arm muscles to keep your forearm elevated. You've just described one of the top causes of carpel tunnel- puttin all the weight of your arm on your wrist which is pushed onto the top of the mouse. Don't do it!
I got to go here with a girlfriend and her friends. Her friend was a babysitter for the guy from Creedence Clearwater Revival... John Fogerty? They were next door neighbors in "the hills". She also lived across the street from Tom Bosley and said he was a grumpy old man that would yell at anyone driving by and taking pictures of his house... but I digress.

Fogerty gave her reservations for 4 at the restaurant as a thank you. Because we weren't members, we still had to pay to get in to the park.. or maybe we just didn't know?

Anyway, it was very nice, very "Disney", like what you'd see on the intro's to the TV show. Looked like Victorian built in the late 50's/early 60's. Pretty neat.

I'm surprised people are saying the food was no better, they must have no taste at all.

My gf's friends were vegetarian, but one guy ate the Filet Mignon because it looked so good. Obviously he wasn't "hardcore". I remember it being some of the best beef I'd ever eaten. I don't usually drink alcohol, had I know it was the only place they serve it in the Magic Kingdom, I would've had something.

I didn't take any pics because I didn't know if it was allowed, and didn't want to get the babysitter in trouble with Mr. Fogerty.

Ah well, a very memorable experience.

And yes it's funny how the entrance is right there but you don't really notice it unless you're looking for it.

Funny thing, I remember the brass buzzer on the left side, we actually lifted it up and saw a plastic button underneath, then realized "oh... you're supposed to just press on the brass buzzer" Felt kind of silly...
Funny how some people can train for 6 years and still find their job difficult. Just proves, you can't teach talent. ( - _ -;)

Zbrush is an amazing 3D digital sculpting app and a 3D printer is perfect for it. ($300 edu license)
Modo is another super quick intuitive 3D in a more traditional sense. ($100 edu license)

Neither of these take more than a month or so to learn how to use.

You're a mechanical engineer, that's a whole different ball game from a 3D designer.
3D Design is not difficult at all.

Anyway, if you really get paid $65,000 for 3D design, please tell me where you work, I'll be submitting my app.
Yeah I agree, the NAVIGON has the best graphics of any sold in the US, and it's a solid GPS anyway. This one looks even better though!
Maybe instead of expanding their vocabulary, Engadget should just get better reviewers.

- Julien, what more do you want from the "look" of their products? This is a very clean slick black case a with probably the best looking graphics of any GPS unit, I like this as much as my Navigon. It's leaps and bounds above the big names.

As far as size, this would be great if you used it primarily in your car, which I would guess is where most people use it?
hehe funny, I had thought of the idea of adding engine noise to an electric engine, but I thought a more futuristic sound would be cooler, glad they added both. It'd be funny to crank up the V8 sound when some losers are taking their time crossing against the light.

I'm surprised how plain the dash is, I mean, it's very nice, but with all that gaudiness on the outside, I'd at least go for a nice video screen in the middle of the dash.

Although neon is pretty lame, it wouldn't be so bad if it was white. But why isn't it LED? Plus there are better places for it.
You have a guy holding a piece of curved plastic in one photo, then a closeup of some packaging without showing what's in the package.

Not saying the nano won't be like the rumors, but this proves nothing.
Disorted Loop

Is it only .mkv files that don't playback well on your aTV? I'm interested in getting one but not if i can't play the full 720P that aTV claims it can.

My Mac Mini can playback all my 720P files just fine, it can even play 1080P to a degree. But in very "complex" scenes the framerate drops to 10FPS.

The reason i'd like to get an aTV is to have a very portable device to go from upstairs to downstairs. I had having to shut down and disconnect my mini all the time.

Speaking of which, how do you "shutdown" the aTV? can you just unplug it at anytime? do you actually have to wait for a shutdown and a startup?
Hey, you guys should go back to the site.

Turns out it had nothing to do with Apple, instead they have a new business model.

"Bring your own flash drive" and simply download the NEW version 3.0!

It's said to work with AppleTV Take Two ver. 2.0.2
The really funny part is that a "hole" in something usually means something is very flawed. A hole in your sock, hole in your shoe, "There's a hole in that plan" etc. So they are basically being very upfront about how bad this game will be; "The idea was for the game to be fun, but there's a hole in that idea.".
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
