Well the iphone reader is very good I have to say, thought I would not use it, but I do. So when barnes and noble announced their ebook reader and I saw they would do 14 day lending, I thought why not try it.

Well it's not nearly as convenient! For each book you get from BN you have to unlock it on the iphone by entering your entire credit card number. What a pain, and the book was free anyway.

So I must hand it to amazon and probably using the pc reader will be quite good. I do still hate the ebook pricing for what you get (same price as paperback, can't give the book to someone else like a physical). But it looks like bn will finally push some competition now.
No backgrounding, push won't deliver pandora audio will it!? Oh well.
I looked under my chair and all I get is a lousy 50 buck coupon?!

Still way expensive, and books you can't reset or give away to someone else is just silly.

In fact with DRM you could in fact transfer books to other people in a secure way, but alas no good use seems to come out of drm.
I think you don't know his style, and he had a radio show for a lot longer than the recent tv stuff. He would just as likely make fun of anyone else's hobby like golfers watching golf etc.
The phone call wasn't good, just was defensive and silly.

And places like this site aren't really blogs, they're commercial web sites, blogs really are what they started as, personal web sites for quick personal thoughts. I don't know which he was really ranting about.
I like cheese
Tv is swell
How can you be dissatisfied with something you don't have? It's all a bunch of hype, vista is one of the best releases I've used.

People have short memories (or a deficiency of age!). XP was quite a big jump with a whole new kernel coming along. There where far more issues with that, and a bunch of problems back in ye old win9x days.

Turn off the auto restore point stuff. Until I did that it was crazy like a rattlesnake and never stopped. I have a drive that doesn't do acoustic management so it was a nightmare for a media center pc in a quiet room!

turn that off and you'll be set.
I'm looking for something to replace my karma. So much worry about style. Well the karma's no looker but it had the features. Sadly most modern players don't have them all. But I need more space.

Wish for zune2 to have gapless, more formats, and something I can navigate with one hand. Apple really loses on the one hand deal, the karma has been great for one hand control in a car.

It's not an HD radio is it? Maybe if it was both HD and wifi it would be cool.

But it's disappointing that both HD and wifi radios are so overpriced.

Plus look at this thing. All that room and no handy preset type buttons?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
