I dont use a mouse. I use the tablet for all navigating. I cant stand mice.
Meh, I dont see the ring being used that much, for me anyway. I use a 6x11 Intuos3 and, since Im left handed, I have a Logitech NuLooq on my right so take care of all the functions I need. For any graphic designers, I highly recommend this combo.
I picked 5 Wacom 6x11 Intuos3 tablets up from Best Buy a couple weeks ago for $149 a piece. They were on clearance and I bought every one they had, kept one, and sold the rest on ebay for $100 profit each. Check your local BB and see if they still have them.
I have a question. Im thinking about going with the Optibay to add an additional 500GB hard drive to my MacBook Pro. Currently I have a 1TB external HD for my iTunes library that has everything on it. What I want to do is just have my music on the 500GB internal HD but keep my movies and tv shows on the 1TB external. But when I add music to my library it will automatically go on the internal 500GB and when I add movies/TV shows they will go to the external. Is this any way possible?
Id give every tax payer a million dollars minus any debt they have. That way banks get their money, credit scores go up and bills get paid. Of course everyone will want to spend that money which would help the retail industry, which, in turn, will open up more jobs. Doing this would be much much cheaper than the $800 billion stimulus plan and would solve more problems.
I dont understand why blogs are reporting these as just now coming to the states. I got one for Christmas from my fiance. She ordered it from thegadgeteers.com and it arrived a couple of days later. This thing is wonderful. I use mine at work as a Twhirl display and to hold different palettes from my Adobe software. I dont have the desk space to have another 19"+ monitor so this is perfect.
I use Apple products and software every day all day but this is just getting annoying. Apple can't say anything about marketing when I see iPod and iPhone ad every other commercial break. I use Vista with Parallels to test websites in IE and never had a problem with it. It had driver problems when it was first released but those have primarily have been solved for quite some time. This is definitely getting slanderous.

But to play devil's advocate, these commercials definitely have a role in the way people see Vista and choose Macs. Its part of the reason why Apple's sales increase quarterly. But its just getting annoying and petty.
This may just replace 3 apps on my iPhone: What's On?, TV Forecast and Movies.app. Im not 100% sure if I want to get rid of those yet. I like the landscape view of Whats On? and being able to scroll down multiple channels at a time. Not super excited about the interface of i.TV either. But Ill definitely give it some face time before deciding. It is very promising though.
I have a dilemma. I want to get either an AppleTV and use the ATV hack (all of my videos are .avi and on an external) or get an older Mac Mini to use as a media center. The main reason being is to use the iphone Remote app. With an older Mac Mini being more expensive than a 40GB AppleTV, Im leaning more towards the ladder. But will the hacked AppleTV still work with the iphone Remote app? If I have to go the Mac Mini route Ill probably install Plex and use the XBMC remote but I want to take the least expensive route.
You know the Circuit City commercial where they demonstrate the Lexmark wifi printers and the guy has his printer cable all around the house? Yeah well, thats me in reality. P-p-p-p-please let me win this printer. My kankles hurt!

"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
