May 31st 2008 11:53PM check ur facts peepee/any kid or whatever name u wanna go under. this eee is MORE EXPENSIVE than the wind and has half the battery life. it's going to be more expensive than the dell and most likely with the same battery life. last i checked, u get about 3 hours from this and u can get 3-4 hrs from a dell as well easily. everyone knows that the eee has terrible battery life even with its ssd
and btw i get mid-grade and white eggs.

May 29th 2008 12:58PM another site said something about the manufacturer for the 6 cells having a shortage or something so it may not release with it... which would completely blow cuz i'm not buying it w/out the 6 cell

May 29th 2008 12:02PM i read somewhere that the 8.9 and the 10in both share the same chasis, so u'd just end up having a fugly border around it so no real benefit there. if it was smaller then i'd be all for it

and don't forget the concept of elasticity, inferior/superior/normal goods, etc.
some goods r just inelastic. like toothpicks, a price change will not effect demand.
so next time, make sure u review all ur notes b4 u try to make an argument.

actually, that only applies to substitute goods. the wii is not the same good as the ps3 and 360, therefore, its price does not have an effect on it. the wii is aimed at a different user base than the other 2. go back to economics yourself and u'll realize that. the price of pencils does not effect the demand for pens b/c although they r similar, they are not exactly substitutes. and the 360 goes for 280 anyways which is not a far cry from 250 for the wii.

May 14th 2008 10:06PM @ flashpoint, just cuz the wii is cheaper doesnt mean it'll sell more. i don't see kia outselling toyota or honda or ford do it? either way, the wii is a money train for nintendo. it actually profits on system sales unlike xbox and ps3. (once again, i have all 3 systems)

May 14th 2008 10:03PM um adam, developers do look at install base current and future. the wii can slow down it's selling pace in the US by 80% and it'll have the same base as the 360 this time next year. but with wii fit coming along it'll just push more product and continue the trend. the wii will have total US sales in excess of 16 or 17 mil and the xbox will only be around 14 mil since it's pace has slowed waaay down
