I think trackpoint is especially important for an ultraportable since you may not have enough space for a full size keyboard + trackpad.

Feb 2nd 2008 1:21AM Well, I really like my Kindle. It is of course not perfect. Here's the 2.0 that I am dreaming of:
1. 8 inch e-ink with color
2. Native PDF support
3. Open platform
4. Unicode support.
5. Touch screen for note taking, UI etc, get rid of keyboard
I know some of the above are really hard to implement and some are eating into their bottom line. But man, I can still dream
