When I saw Mission Impossible III's trailer I assumed tom Cruise was being attacked by an A-10 Thunderbolt but it was actualy a Predator B.

These things typicaly carry Hellfire missiles - Bombs are too heavy and don't carry a machine gun either so I suspect the drones would only be neccesary against enemy convoys - or - if Osama Bin Ladin ever shows up again.

What America really should do is develop robots shaped like large rolling balls which are gyroscopicaly stabilized to roll across terrain - carrying machine guns internaly - and visual equiptment...something similar to the droids in Star Wars Episodes I and II.

I can't wait till America reaches the point where we can throw droids at the enemy and watch their horror when they realize that robots killing them will demoralize them and they can no longer simply kill US soldiers to demoralize us.

In the end, that is what unmanned warfar is all about.

KILL THE ENEMY with superior FUNDING.
or into Detox
It it scores well on CNET and costs less than $1800 it will be in my bedroom by Christmas.
But the Vaio UX costs around $1800 and is as bulky as a claymore mine.
BUT what really suprises me is the police agency's don't have "BLACK OPTS" that would circumvent the lack of a court order and just track the vehicle to get it done.

I don't trust the government at all pre or post PATRIOT ACT.

Seems to me all they need is a few keystrokes to find out exactly where someone is hiding - to hell with court orders.

I've heard some stupid comments but your's takes the cake.

What the fuck difference does buying audio products make? Why don't you go hang yourself.

What fool couldn't have predicted that BLURAY would trump HD DVD?

Firstly, the potential storage capacity of BluRay blew HDDDVD AWAY purely on paper.

Furthermore, it was an easy guess that PS3 would be the first Blu Ray player in most households. I remember back when PS2 was released how in Japan it was carried in stores that didn't traditional carry video game consoles MERELY BECAUSE IT WAS THE CHEAPEST DVD PLAYER ON THE MARKET.

Now with PS3's launch price of $499 and $599 it was still the cheapest Blu Ray player on the market and the best possible choice for an HD player due to its Dolby 7.1 TrueHD and its 1080P scaling.

For these scumbag sales analysts to "forget" to count PS3 as a Blu Ray player only shows the corruption, stupidity and fanboyism in the industry.

The only thing that could have possibly saved HDDVD was IF MICROSOFT HAD INCLUDED THE DRIVE IN THE ELITE. Funny thing is, Microsoft is the #1 company backing HDDVD and they didn't even trust it enough to include it in their system. PITIFUL.

I hope HD DVD dies a painful, bloody death.

I hope HDDVD is CHAINSAWED IN HALF WITH A LANCER ASSAULT RIFLE.
I have no idea who ranked you Highly for that comment but the simple fact is PSP only has a HANDFUL of A+ games and PS3 has barely any. SONY is fucking up left and rightwith both systems and I don't know why.
Just don't let SONY make those nanobatteries. No need to have people exploding inside out.
I have yet to see a Chinese ripoff of the Ipod which wasn't better than the Ipod itself.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
