Yeah, you can tell its an iphone clone cos its got, like, buttons and a screen.
I don't think the DMCA is enforceable in Antigua...
And you thought offshore companies were all about money laundering!
Its not a trit, because while it has 3 states, one of those is not knowing whether its one of the other two. If dead/not dead cats aren't your thing, see:

2 By switching off the loops in the alternator, the alternator provides reduced load on the engine. Similar to switching off the A/C, it reduces loading on the engine when its least efficient.

3 I've heard of people who ran out of fuel using the starter motor to help them shift the car. A more powerful one would make it into a sort of hybrid-lite.

I think the point is that this is a retrofit for many older cars, to increase MPG. Lets face it, most cars on the road are old, rather than new. If a software update and a couple of extra cables can save you £$¥, wouldn't you choose it?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
