@Jordan Eye tracking wouldn't necessarily require a pointer to follow wherever your eyes went, in fact it might eliminate the need for a pointer at all. Buttons or objects could highlight different colors as you focused on them to indicate their function.
This is why I love Google Documents and Google Notebook so much. They autosave, are easily shared, and if your system crashes completely, even if it's hit by a meteor, you will still be able to get to your documents when you log in on any computer that has a web browser. The only downside is a lack of security (i.e. Google can read it), and lack of advanced functionality.

Microsoft is coming out with web versions of Office for free right? This just might be the improvement you're hoping for.
I've never seen a touch screen ATM in the US, I think it's just the voting machines. Touch screen doesn't seem robust enough for the amount of use that ATMs get.

I guess there just isn't enough demand for voting machines. That must be why these companies can get away with really crappy products.
Ask (actually read the article) and you shall receive.

I totally agree. I was thinking that it looked like they just emulated the Rush 2049 engine. Where are the stunt wings? I loved Rush, Blitz, Gauntlet Legends, and Hydrothunder back in the day. Too bad Midway thinks they can still get away with crapsicle 3D graphics and sprites for environment objects (wtf?).
Keys to success:
1. Get Megan Fox to endorse it
2. Make some sweet "Scion-esque" transformers commercial and have this bad boy turn into a sweet robot

I swear to God that would do it.
I thought I might add my bit of knowledge about how they deal with RIAA notices at U of Michigan. Basically they get a notice that some IP has been sharing and pass that notice on to the student. If they deny it, they have to pass on the student's info to the RIAA. So bad news for the student! If the student doesn't deny the infringement, they go into a process that involves a short copyright quiz the first time, and more serious stuff as he/she gets more notices. You dont want 3 or more, I'll tell you that much. The good news is that you've got at least some protection from the University. I suspect other schools are similar and some are completely leaving the students out of it, but we'll see how long that lasts.
ha ha, that's for sure. "Hey you, in the shirt!" and "I'm gonna shoot you in the face!" were a couple of my favorites. oh yeah, and who could forget "Die! Die! Die!"
These are totally pointless. If I wanted my kids to listen to quiet headphones I'd just buy cheap ones and yell at them when I could hear them in the other room. Invent a TV that zaps kids when they get too close to the screen and I'll be impressed.
Well Halo 2 wasn't exactly 'revolutionary' but it sure as hell was fun for me. Having played the Beta a LOT at a friend's house, I know that this game will entertain. Since most of what people didnt like about Halo 2 was the lack of the Human Pistol, they should be happy to know that it's back, though slightly handicapped. (No scope on it) There is also more customization than ever before, and also a "Forge" mode which is comparable to Garry's Mod. Those are sure to make things more interesting for you.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
