This video is somewhat wrong. Mainly because SMS runs off of the SS7 control channel. MMS messaging is basically an extended version of SMS where the multimedia payload is encapsulated into a SMS message.

So that "smart phones" logic is thrown out the window since it actually doesn't pertain to how cellular works. The rest of the information is good information on how basic cellular works, but it doesn't answer the question at hand.

Personally, would love to see better battery usage. That's the one thing that Sony's chipsets seem to always be doing... sucking up power like mad. Not that it's worse or anything, but more time on the PSP would be great. I suppose a hidden WiMax chipset would be pretty neat although somehow I doubt it would come to be.
Oooo... Some action movie. Not sure yet though.

"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
