That would be if any of the monitors were capacative. FYI, they all use Infrared Matrix. See here

http://www.lumio.com/lumio.php?cid=2&id=2

Which means they use triangulation and registering more then 2 touchpoints becomes problematic.

I have not yet seen a capacitive standalone display and my guess it that it would be expensive.
Gimme, gimme, gimme
Yes, me too. (?) Along with what's the best color for the new iPod?

I see fanboys have immediatelly hijacked the thread to talk about a set of headphones no one can even buy yet, let along comment on thier quality.

Is this the Apple marketing site?
Yes but where's the video of the person doing a face plant as soon as you hit the slightest crack in the sidewalk. The big wheels on the Segway have a purpose. This thing would be rendered completely worthless on all but a smooth flat surface and if the novelty factor on a Segway is high, this is in the clouds.
The difference is, with an iPhone you MUST have a data plan. With my Tilt, I have a choice. If I want, I can simply use it without data. For the handful of times I actually use 3G, my cost is probably about $5 per minute.

I believe the iPhone requires a data plan due to visual voice mail and you can not (at least this was true when I bought my wife's phone) get an iPhone without a data plan.
About the only thing more imbecile than this was to pay for a ring tone that is a short clip of a song you already paid for. Ech.

The heck with making the iPhone more affordable. I like Apple and will pay a premium to keep things simple. So now they have a nice simple easy to use product with a pricing plan that has more depends than a retirement home! Take about a contradiction.
@Jason

I have a Tilt and an iPhone since day 1 of both. The iPhone is for my wife. I want to get rid of the Tilt. So I am an existing iPhone customer, but will be activating the new one to the non iPhone number. How would this work?
Everyone seems to be missing this press release though...

Since they didn't have to spend any time or money developing that expensive driver support, they were able to increase profit by more than 14%. In their own words...

"The revenues of 4th quarter was better than expected due to sales through momentum from new product launch in the 4th quarter."

That's 330 million in Q4 Net profit. How much do those drivers cost anyway?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
