I need some magic because nearly all of my salary has been deferred this year due to the economy. Some Christmas cheer would be greatly appreciated.
This blogger is an idiot. I won't rehash all the aforementioned reasons, just wanted to add another vote to the "fire him" pile. Douche.
Sadly, that picture is not a handoff. As someone rightly mentioned above this is play action all the way; the QB clearly still has the ball while the RB is pretending to take the handoff. If we believe this picture data will never get transferred from one network to the other. Not only that but CDMA should be the QB and the running back should be LTE... the handoff (almost) never goes the other way.

I guess I shouldn't expect someone from Berkeley to understand the game of football.
The writing for this piece is awful.
I'm really liking my odds here. Val d'Isere here I come!
Because I like to think I have style, but one can never be too sure.
I've been saying since Nike+ first came out that Apple should partner with Polar. If this is true, this is a HUGE misstep for Apple. They were the first to bring PMP's into the fitness world and should have been doing so with the iPhone.

I did a lot of research earlier this year (May timeframe) about the best value in Plasma displays. I'm surprised it's not listed on here, but after much research I decided to get the 50" Samsung A550 and I have to say it was the best $1899 I have ever spent. The great thing about this set is that it comes out of the box with pretty good color settings and with the advanced controls you are really able to dial it in (especially if you use the service menu). It is also one of the only sets (at least in this price range) to have a "blue only" mode, for color calibration. I read review after review and never found one bad thing mentioned about this set, nor can I think of anything... maybe better handling of anmorphic vs. 4:3 SD video, but it's really not a problem.

I got it right when they came out and found the $1899 price, though even the week after I bought it the price shot up to $2199 (I think because of demand for this particular model).

If you want to spend less than $2000 I don't think you will find anything that compares.
Turkey! Nothing beats the cold like a belly-full of that nap-inducing bird.
That would be a 100% increase in capacity from the 8GB.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
