While this may seem like a good idea, keep in mind that when you add an external drive, you may lose the ability to rewind and fastforward live programming. This is all dependent on your cable provider, what dvr you're using and what software it's running, but I'm on TWC with an SA8300HD. In my experience, I could pause live tv, but once I hit play, it jumped immediately to live tv so it didn't actually record the time it was paused.
Nooooooo! Where will I be able to find Get Out!?
Scroll wheels and D-pads are soooooo 2007. It's all about the finger now.
This has the 528Mhz processor, right?
This sucks. Stern :(
Too bad the stock weather app doesn't display the current temp/weather icon. I hate seeing that it's 73 and sunny all the time.
Too bad we won't see TWC decrease our rates since we'll have 19 less channels. I may not have watched 18 of them, but I still paid for them. Losing channels should equal a rate decrease, but alas, this is basically TWC charging more for less.
But it's not an iPhone so yay! lol
You can get the Acer Aspire One with 1gb ram, 120gb hdd and XP for $350. And the AAO has a larger keyboard. Why get the Dell?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
