I bought one on a recent trip to the UK for $20 (10 gbp). It's an excellent idea. Basically you can treat it as if it was disposable.
Voice quality was great. Breattery life was great. Txting sucks balls. No frills. But great for travle internationally.
Verizon network rocks.
The phones will always suck including the above.
Phone hardware manufacturers spend millions of dollars on good software for their hardware just to have VZW rip it out and put the POS on it.
My E815 is far superior to my RAZR2 software wise. VZW's implementation is absolute garbage and for good reason, that is NOT the business they are in.
Didn't they already lose a lawsuit over the V710 a while back and bluetooth? What gives?
It IS dutch, they're very similar.
Anyway, so from what I saw, they just made the car a lot uglier and ruined it. I think I am going to be sick.
THIS DOESN'T WORK!
I tried the Archos unit on my bike. Bottom line. Motorcycles and Hard drives don't mix. I am now using the neuros device for a fraction of the cost to record my rides.
best clip ever!!
Fugliest car ever. i always hated the looks of that car. Cool ad for it's time though.
How fast was that car anyway, I am sure by today's standards it pales in comparison.
So basically all I see here is a super impracticle motorcycle. "Car of the future" my arse. Business Week should chaneg it's name to Business Weak.
I live about 10 minutes from this site and I didn't make it. But most Newport parking lots look like this normally regardless of the day.
Does Lotus provide some sort of warranty with this car? What about a service contract? That is a HECK of a value for $50K.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
