Seriously WHO CARES? The Mac's are now generic PCs. They have Intel CPU's , Intel Chipsets , ATI Graphics Cards and are made by ASUS. The only thing that they have different is the OS.

It was OBVIOUS from the start that you would be able to boot whatever boots on a "normal" PC , because guess what! Macs ARE normal PCs now.

meh... all the people that actually take long flights frequently are sure to have a laptop that is 100x better then a portable video player.

The touching screen will never work. Either the screen will not have enough brightness because they will rough the texture to make it scratch/smudge resistant , or it will scratch like the current iPOD which is unacceptable even for a photo viewer.

Anyway I think Appl had an amazing 5-6 years boosted by the amazing design of the iPod , but now they have lost speed. The newer iPods are nothing really new , other manufacturs have cached on , or even surpassed them.

Apple's mistake is that they are talking to the studios. You can't reason with them , they want to have the money , the rights and a blowjob. Apple should open up the iPOD , allow Divx , XViD and the rest and let the MPAA run for it's life.

in 5 years Apple will be just another Dell. I can't believe people are happy about this. First they go Intel. The very essence of a MAC , the different architecture , is gone. Now they support Windows booting on their machine.

Minimum price of 425$ ? So that would be the version without the HD , wirelles controller or the rest of the goodies. So inorder to truly buy a PS3 with all the goodies , you will need something like 600$ .

At the same time the XBOX 360 premium would be 300$ ( or more likely 299$. So basicly half the price. And the Revolution will be god knows how much cheaper.

Great marketing there.
