I think Vlad's parents were killed by Reggie or something. He must have some deep seated anti-Nintendo issues sorta like the Joker killing Bruce Wayne's parents. Except where Batman is a cool super hero, Vlad is a tool.
I could care less about the car computer, but I am always looking for new music. Thanks for the heads up :)
LOL. It's so funny. Joystiq keeps digging and digging for gold, but all they keep coming up with is buried shit. Do you guys think before pounding away at the blog engine and hitting publish, I mean seriously. Nowhere in the article did Reggie claim this was some sort of major new idea, and that he came up with it. The man just sounds genuinely excited to be finally bringing this console out. And why shouldn't he? It's fucking awesome.
Hey #5 sounds like Joystiq material. Give that man a star!
For the amount of time one takes to complain about a post they think is stupid or irrelevant, you think you could just scroll past it and ignore it. It takes way more effort to complain, and does not exactly make you look smarter or superior in the process. If Vlad posts something stupid, and you think it as such, skip it. I myself did not find this funny, just stupid. But who cares what I think. You should not, and I wont care about what you think.

"Actually, PS2 didn't support 5.1 channel Dolby Digital for games, only movies."

That's true. But it did in fact support 5.1 DTS in the optical out as long as the game was coded to use this feature. I know because thats how I played GTA Vice City in 5.1 using optical.
Everytime you watch the Blue Dragon trailer, Ken Kutaragi dies a little more inside. So please, please, KEEP WATCHING. Do it for the children.
Is reading the first three lines of the article that hard?

Man, joystiq has gone downhill fast. Give me a negative star if you want, I dont care. I have read this blog for a long time, before it was a commercial for whatever product you guys are decided to be fanboyish on for the week. I am not sure where it started to happen, maybe after the AOL buyout, but lately its like a bunch if children are running this place. You love the wii, you hate the wii. You love the PS3 in one post, and then go on to criticize the exact same things you love in a post not a day later, with often the same editor! Let me clear up something for you guys, a gamer should not CARE about what kind of profit the company is making off the console. Do you think this was even a discussion in the Snes vs Genesis days? You guys have completely lost track of your purpose. I am not going to be one if those people that claims I wont read joystiq anymore, I will continue to do so, as a lot of the time your articles are interesting an entertaining. But at your current state, its becoming less and less enjoyable reading the blog. I dont know what happened, but I hope it gets fixed, since I really do like Joystiq.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
