I'm in the military and my job in itself does enough to keep me from playing WoW for random periods of time. I guess that is a good thing.

When I do have a lot of down time I tend to play for 2-3 days and then not play for about a week or so. I consider myself a 'very' casual player and since Nov '08 my main character (a human warrior) is only at lvl 72. I now find myself in a rush to get to lvl 80 before Cataclysm is release. I want to make sure I experience that expansion as a lvl 80 since I only started playing 'after' TWOTLK was released. I'm guessing I have about 2 months or so to get 8 lvls. Not easy but I'll make it.
I'd like to take Jericho Season 1 to Iraq with me so that I can share it with my fellow Marines. This way by the time we get back, Season 2 will either have started or will be ready to start and the show will have a ton of new fans.
I will be buying a 160 gig iPod Classic for $128. That's $349 minus $200 (I purchased two iPhones) minus $21 military discount.
This is one update that I can wait for. I rather wait and have it done right then it be rushed.

Besides I'm perfectly happy with Office 2003 for Windows via CrossOver and/or Office 2007 for Windows via Parallels.
I love how people are quick to judge without thinking. Steve Jobs has a good point in what he is saying. I say this from experience with a Windows Mobile phone. I have never had to reboot a cell phone until I got the SDA from T-Mobile. I go crazy installing all sorts of apps to get extra functions and abilities only to have the phone freeze up and crash. The last thing I need is for me to install some third party app or hack to have my phone do something extra. Apple is right to make this phone closed and save me from me. Will I get the iPhone eventually? Heck freaking yes, because I'm tired of buying "The Missing Sync" for phones that don't properly integrate with OS X. The iPhone will be an extension of my Macbook Pro and thats all I need. Freedom is one thing but stabiliy is preferred.
Its funny how the first thing I thought about when I saw this post was the background and not the screen saver. I guess I wasn't the only one.
My parents have been doing this for a while now. They take old used cell phones (from anyone willing to give them up) and take them to the Dominican Republic. There the phone are used on whatever carrier they have there. Just a few months ago I gave them three old cell phones for that purpose.

This is a good idea and service because people in those country will take anything they can get just to have a cell phone.
Imagine if this was the UI for OS X Server's Mail Server??

Well I just imagined it and sent Apple some feedback.

I'm a sucker for eye candy and this would convince me to purchase OS X Server, put it on a Mac mini and host my own email and domain. Why not just sign up for .Mac?? Yeah OK and give up GMail's 2.5 Gigs of space, I don't think so.
I've had this in my dreams and thoughts for years now and finally someone bought it to reality. Unlike most Americans though I won't sue them.
Macs may not be affected by virus but that doesn't mean that they can't get infected. We could easily get an infected email or document that we could pass on to our poor Windows using colleages.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
