phojo11 - They already announced that they haven't made the decision on the winnder of the D80. They have been so busy with PS3, 360, and Wii coverage that they haven't had time.
Woah, at first i was kinda angered at the LCD that was missing. Cool that they put it on the LCD. You can even see it in the dark (unlike the D50). Looks cool.
Well,
I use Keynote all the time. The one problem I have with it right now is to move objects around. I don't like how you can just move them in or out. Watching Jobs' latest Keynote, he moved showed a line of the iPod family, faded them out and at the same time slid the 5G iPod into the center. I believe with the next builds of Keynote we are going to see this an option. This is going to be a big step forward. I also hope they make things a little easier when changing slides. Does anyone know of any alternative to wirelessly changing slides than Salling Clicker. I don't think Jobs uses this. My phones won't work.
Thanks.
Applecare is horrible. I feel bad because I turned a couple of my friends on to Apple and convinced them to go with the MacBooks. I have a Black MacBook and it has never had this issue. BUT, both had the RSS issue. One sent his in and when he received it, it would not boot up, so he had to return it to Applecare. My other friend sent his is and when he received it the battery had an issue and it would not boot either. I was so distraught / embarrassed that I had boasted about Apple's greatness when they were being unreal. AND THEN my brother's MacBook started failing and discoloring. He sends it in and GET THIS, when he get's it back the faceplate which has MacBook written on it that goes around the monitor appeared to have been warped by extreme heat and was bent and distorted out of shape. I could not believe my eyes... How can Apple send these things back NOT WORKING!? Someone needs to get something together fast.
I don't understand why every is so Aqua-giddy. Aqua is out. It's too easy to create and looks too childish. If you want Aqua, use Vista. Vista is going to be all up on Aqua, the entire UI will be Aqua or beveled, semi-transparent windows. iTunes and iPhoto and kinda Mail have been all about looking clean and pro, but still use the right amount of color and shadows. I like it, and it doesn't look PC-ish to me.

BUT, Aqua is not totally out of iTunes 7. It is still in the iTunes Store and on the sidebar. Anything highlighted is Aqua.

Notice how in all of the menus, they still have the brushed metal and Tiger X.
The thing I am most expecting now is to see how the user interface is going to look. They are obviously still just using all of Tiger's stuff until they release their version. Should look killer.
When I read the typing mistakes, I just figured it was their way of saying, "Maybe they are right, a computer wouldn't misspell things like this." But, maybe I am wrong. It really doesn't matter. If you don't like the way the give you the news, don't come to the site.
I think this is a fake. Simply because the menu bar at the top is the same as Tiger. They always change the menu bar with the new versions.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
