They plan to crush it more like a puppy. Not like a bug.
So is this actually less functionality than the current client? Why on earth would they limit it so pointlessly? I joined XBox live just for the Netflix service, and I'm really thinking it was a waste of money, I won't renew if they don't fix this.
Ooo I want one, pick me please!
This is just crazy. I think it's right to compensate artists, but how can they possibly argue that it's wrong to use something they themselves sold you? If they don't want books on Kindle, go ahead and stop offering them. I have a hard time believing that the Kindle's text-to-speech is good enough to put any voice-actors out of business, those are the people who really have something to lose if/when this technology matures.
I would love one of these
The economy is so bad that someone stole my lunch today. A slingcatcher would sure make me feel better.
I've had mine since the day it shipped. It is a truly spectacular camera.

The only things I'd wish for:

- 100% viewfinder
- AF points closer to the edge of the frame
- 4:5 aspect-ratio mode
- Lose the (worthless) pop-up flash

It's priced right, specced right, and a joy to use.

I'm not at all sure what the CF complaints could be - CF is the standard for high-performance, high-capacity shooting. It's proven, well-supported, extremely reliable. I wouldn't want anything else - only the consumer-grade cameras use SD as their primary storage.
I want:

iChat
GPS
3rd party apps
SlingPlayer
Games! (Sudoku, Crossword puzzles, Scrabble...)
Flash

I am very happy with the keyboard

I'd go 9/10 - the rough edges are very minor. I do wish for a junk filter in the email app, an IM client, and of course real 3rd party apps, but compared to my Treo, this thing is godly.
That's one petaflops, even though it sounds funny.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
