That's still a lot different from showing you computer simulated images of an interface that may not even match the commercial in real life.
Sequences shortened = real live video of an app working, real live footage of a video playing on an actual iPhone screen, real live video of an actor using his/her fingertips to conduct gestures on a real iPhone but without the extra steps and time necessary to complete every task you see (otherwise the commercial would have to be 30, 40, 60, 120 seconds instead of 15).
Screen images simulated = totally fake video slapped on what's really the non-working screen of a BlackBerry Storm 2 where the actor is acting out a well rehearsed sequence of finger movements that aren't actually taking place on the phone that's on your TV/computer screen.
Do you see the difference?

"Screen images simulated" means the image you see was created with computer graphics instead of a real working phone on camera.

Yes, sales data that proves your ranting is useless.
The Mac business has doubled in every area over the past decade. But you know where Apple made the biggest dent of all? It's seen as a viable alternative to Windows by normal everyday consumers. That's where they succeeded the most.
You can argue that their growth over the past few years was a farce due to the Vista fiasco (and we'll know whether or not that's true by next year), but to claim Apple hasn't made a dent is a flat out lie.

Could you be any more vague? There's a BIG difference between being stuck at 3-4% versus more than doubling your market share in under a decade to just below 10%, which you're on pace to surpass by next year. It's called growth and it doesn't happen overnight.
