Public perception. People have a mostly irrational fear of nuclear power. If you reminded the average San Diego citizen that there were a couple of nuclear reactors just across the harbor at North Island (aircraft carriers) and a few more at Point Loma (submarines), they'd freak out.
It's like an arcade light gun game called Police 911 or something. It's just like a normal light gun game, except your standing on a pressure sensitive mat so you need to duck and lean to avoid bullets and peek around corners and stuff. I can totally see that being applied to a Wii FPS/light gun game.
If those fans are supposed to suck smoke out if there's a fire, what if the power goes out? Plus I think the noise would detract from experiencing the museum. Not a good trade off in my opinion.
The application for this technology wouldn't be in a large extended endurance craft like the Global Hawk, but in smaller more portable craft. Look at the size of that RC plane the researcher is working on. Since these fuel cells are so light (17oz of hydrogen versus many gallons of jet fuel), it would make it easy to design small, lightweight UAVs that could be deployed with the troops instead of being run from airbases far away.
And if you do need 24/7 coverage, you could aways have multiple planes and run them in shifts...
No! If you connect Korea to America, they'll become American chicks and loose their exotic Asian allure! Save money on tugboats, just start an airline company with constant flights to Seoul!
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
