I think he meant to say that a PPM system no longer favors fast weapons and that Mutilate will go back to favoring slow weapons (as it should be).

I think you misunderstand, even if our damage mitigation OVERALL ends up the same it will only do so if we are constantly attacking things.

Passive mitigation (armor bonus from a talent) has now been morphed into active mitigation (damage shield from crits).

It now requires more effort to get the SAME overall mitigation. That is my point.

If that extra effort gave us overall MORE mitigation, I would not be complaining but Bliz themselves said this was going to even it all out.
