easily the best of the day!
shiny..this could be what it takes for me to actually use a headset more regularly!
this would be fricking sweet...seriously beyond awesome
I was excited when I saw the site down earlier. Great work Engadget, loving the new look!
EDGE really is not that bad when the signal strength is good. I came from an EV-DO Sprint phone to a Curve 8310 (Edge only) a few months ago. While I won't argue theoretical maxes or peaks, I have to say, I tethered for about 5 hours a few days ago with the Curve just about every site I use on a regular basis loaded just fine for me (including engadget).

3g is great, but Edge is hardly intolerable. Not to mention Edge is a whole lot better than the 1xRTT Sprint would drop down to outside of the city/suburbs.
They're talking about the euro version here, because the US version is on Sprint's CDMA network.

The point is that it's one step closer to working with US networks, and now can switch off to many networks in Europe. Shockingly, there is more to the world (and engadget readership) than just the USA.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
