Jan 28th 2008 1:59PM If the phone has 1.1.2 firmware you can downgrade it to 1.1.1 and unlock it for any sim card. If the phone has 1.1.3 I am not so sure you can do the downgrade.

It also explains the steps for 1.1.2 downgrade and links to another site for that part, but his overall explanation is best.
