@KillTheApex Not only that, but it's an ACER!

Honestly.. Acer? Really?
@fourthletter That doesn't make it look any less gimmicky.

It's the same thing with the Jeep branded mountain bikes.

It's sad when a brand license is sold for the sole purpose of hocking a netbook.

There is nothing inherently magical about the netbook, except that the price is more decent then the first Acer + Ferrari miscarriage that left them with a massive overstock.

I guess I could paint my ThinkPad red and throw on a licensed badge from a Ferrari keyring and join in this merriment of ridiculousness. :-D
Acer + Ferrari branded merchandise + meh specs + higher then typical price tag = business as usual for that relationship.

Some things never change.

@tehslax

hahaha. Hell, I'd let people use my crotch for $29.99.
Who did the Kindle marry?

Barbie.
..wow.. I would never buy that simply because of the amount of fingerprints that it proudly collects and brandishes.
You guys want to move to Finland?

Enjoy Sweden's Mexico.
"Everex US is now closed"

And nothing of value was lost.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
