Why not put the IR emitter on the headphone jack instead of the dock connector?
I stay productive by not reading TUAW
when you make an assumption, you make an "ass" out of "u" and "mptions"!
i think you mean "nino blanco"
It is definetly possible to flip the screen 180 degrees, but interfacing with the dock connector is another story.
For me it depends who wants to use it. Some of my close friends I would feel completely comfortable with them borrowing it, while others I would never let them touch it. For example, one of my friends owns a MacBook. I witnessed him tossing a water balloon up and down while using it. Inevitably, it popped and soaked his computer completely. I helped him turn it off and take out the battery to let it dry out. I recommended he not use it for at least three days. I saw him using it a few hours later. This is not the type of person you would want using your gadgets.
My 13 yr old brother could design something better than this.
@Mike:
weird, i just watched that movie a few days ago.
Yeah. I've occasionally heard norcal (and by occasionally i mean all the time), but never nocal. And certainly not No. Cal
Hey guys watch me hack the banner ad on Engadget. All I do is give them some money and they put whatever I want up there. How cool is that?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
