What a ridiculous article. To suggest that being a tech editor makes a person even MINIMALLY qualified for almost any position other than a writer, editor, or janitor is laughable at best. Yea, I write sports articles for ESPN so they should let me run a sports team. Right.

I can't blame the guy for trying to make more money, but I do blame him for playing the readers of this site for idiots. I'm sure that his only interest is to plug "the holes in Moto's sinking ship" and that money isn't involved at all right? He just loves the company so much that he wants to help them out. It has nothing to do with trying to get his unqualified foot in the door somewhere worthwhile. Yea...

He makes the post sound like he is just soooo concerned with Motorola's well-being that he is just the man to step forward and bring them back to the RAZR glory days. Why not just say that you want to make more money? Why not just tell your readers that you want to move up on the career ladder and that you want your fanboys to rally behind you? Why make it sound like you're the one doing Motorola a big favor when it would really be the other way around? Why put humanitarian clothes on a greed-motivated power-play? We would of respected the truth, but this load of BS that you're feeding us insults our intelligence.

In the future, keep this type of drivel to a personal blog. I could care less what you want to achieve with your personal or business life. I doubt many people do. Sure there are some fanboys, but like most people, I come to this site for good, up-to-date gadget news, which is what makes this site #1 in my opinion.
