Hi, I'm an E.R. nurse in Texas and can tell you that we NEVER ask for insurance information or ability to pay for treatment before a patient is evaluated by a physician, and only then by a registrar, not a medical professional. The only time it becomes an issue for us is when the patient is discharged with prescriptions which they may not be able to afford, in which case a social worker might be consulted to find programs and resources necessary to assist them.

Sudden onset of noticable hair loss (acute alopecia) can also be a sign/symptom of a potentially serious condition such as diabetes, thyroid disease, or certain hormonal/auto-immune disorders. As an R.N., I would advise anyone with this problem to seek the advise of their healthcare practitioner to rule out anything other than stress.
I have been watching this DRM issue for years now, and like most here, agree that it both undermines the entertainment industry and makes criminals out of the wrong people. However, this new tactic to "break microsoft" is a little unsettling. Whether you are an M$ fanboy(girl), MacWorshipper or %nix Lvr, the unfortunate fact that Windows computers pretty much rule this country, protects our information, and runs our government should give us a pause for concern at the very least. I totally agree that hindering technology and the flow of information in order to make a buck is Orwellian evil, but where are we headed with all this?
Too little, too late. TV tuner cards + ability to encode on the fly to a variety of output options has pretty much rendered this whole business of TV show/Old movie downloads for scads of cash almost useless. When they realize that people might pay a movie ticket price (no more!) for a first run movie that can be sent to 1 PC and 1 mobile device, then they may finally be catching on to this whole "internet" thing! I for one wouldn't be adverse to the idea that, if done correctly, paying for new movies that dont usually get the huge buildup of the megalo-hits that appeal to smaller audiences. I already pay $140.00 a month for my cable, when is enough enough?

"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
