Mar 12th 2008 11:44PM I wouldn't put too much faith in the words of Houser. Although I'm sure that this time around they'll accomplish things never thought of before, Houser was the one who told us that cars would age over time in San Andreas, which they didn't. He also told us that we could take our dirty rides to the car wash to get cleaned, which didn't exist either. Then there was the whole "you can drive the trolly car" thing...which also didn't happen.
GTAIV is gonna rock the casbah, but I seriously doubt that it's gonna brush my teeth for me.

Jan 30th 2008 12:48PM I really liked the short-lived '3 South'...mainly because it was a college cartoon and I was just graduating from High School at the time. Plus, Brian Posehn was the voice of one of the lead characters, so why the hell not?
I also tend to watch 'Viva La Bam' whenever it's on because I really like how they did the show. They went to such great lengths to make it an 'anti-reality show'. It was obviously scripted(or at least heavily planned), but it seemed to flow so naturally.

Jan 22nd 2008 3:18PM While I'll agree with you about the 'getting new viewers' part, most of the problems people are having understanding the show stem from just plain not paying attention. The girl who killed herself was most likely sleeping with one of her teachers, thus the final fresco of what looked to be someone's office door with her inside kissing what looked like an older man. Really, that's the only thing that you would have had to make an assumption about, everything else was laid out. The scientist had a career long problem that the terminator could fix. Terminator stole enough blood to supply the scientist for a preliminary test.
I honestly don't understand what was so hard to get from that. This isn't the first time a TV show has had multiple simultaneous storylines. I will agree, though, that it's poor writing for a headless endoskeleton to go undiscovered for 7 years...especially considering that it should have been found with other suspicious technology at the site of a bank heist. I mean, just an arm and a computer chip were found at the Cyberdyne factory, which helped to form Cyberdyne Systems in less than that period of time.
At current, the show continues to interest me...but I still don't see it lasting very long.

Dec 18th 2007 2:18AM I'm noticing SIGNIFICANT increases in files access speeds. It used to take about 15 seconds to open up the Video folder on the XMB on my 2 and 4gb sticks, but now it's more like 5-7 seconds. Also noticing that they're re-arranged a little.
Can anyone confirm?
