Nope, nothing grabbed my fancy (tho I admit I wasn't in much of a "buying" mood), the holiday expenses are starting to stack up so games/gizmos are definitely secondary right now.
"Green-washing", especially for anything that resembles electronics or vehicles, is getting scarier by the day. There's nothing clean about computers, some are just a little less worse than others; that's like holding a contest for morbidly obese people and picking which contestant is the slimmest of the bunch.

It's all just PR, you're not saving the planet.
I've quit already.

And I've got nothing bad to say about WoW or Blizzard, it's just that 4 years of playing the same game got old for me.

Kudos to them for holding my attention that long, there's not another game out there that ever got that close.
Did players get some info regarding how the future features will be delivered? Will it be a free content patch or a paid-for expansion pack?
My theory is that patch 1.3 (Land of the Dead) and following months caused a mass exile; LotD effectively killed RvR in the T4 pairings for a few weeks after it came out, those who weren't interested in playing PvE for easy loot just canceled.

PT really was, once, one of those most populated servers, despite it's imbalance in favor of Destros (I played Order, we were outnumbered 3 to 1 sometimes); the fight still went on every night.

I stopped playing 2 weeks after LotD went live and saw the early damage it caused, the faction who controlled LotD deserted RvR zones and the "losing" side was left to steamroll those T4 zones without any sort of resistance. Pretty damn boring for those interested in PvP.
So odd, I was playing on Phoenix Throne up until I quit in April, we were the most populated RP server and overall one of the top servers. What happened? I know WAR is struggling, but that bad?
It's a dangerous thing to interpret and extrapolate could-be's from a video.
There really doesn't seem to be any more "hard" content in MMOs, it's been completely replaced by time-consuming tasks that one cannot (technically, humanly) complete in a normal sitting to keep you playing (and paying).
There never was such a feature, what are you talking about exactly?
Now that NCsoft has partially fixed the crysystem.dll issue, I'll be raiding/defending fortresses all weekend.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
