Annnnd, you're kinda dumb. The same was said about Motorola's downward spiral. Now with Android their fortunes have been reversed. WM7 is 1 killer app away from coming back - unlikely, but possible.
It's the LG Chocolate! plus a slide out qwerty.
Wow, you missed the point on your own reply. The fact that we can have Win7 on a $200 Netbook and have Flash work as well, if not better, than your $1500 machine is a Win for 7. The fact that you dont even have the option to own a Mac Netbook is a lose for you buddy.

*Goes back to his Win7 Dell X300 (yup, that old) that runs smooth as butter.
wow.

It's pathetic that they didn't even try to test it on similar hardware, instead of just testing on Mac crap.

Bravo CNET... your irrelevance is duly noted.

Maybe the Apple camp is desperate to get out the "good news" bc they're worried about W7.

Maybe like MS took back the Netbook market, they're about to take back the Desktop/Laptop market.
Sorry, but i wouldn't take any business-person with a Sidekick seriously.

Just my opinion.

Actually, NohOne was making (somewhat) relevant comment. As the OP, i will allow this. :P

I guess the point is that MS and Apple are both now with their own Data Backup products issues. Which goes to my original point, where does the commoner, like me, go to ensure their data?

Is it time to print all my pictures?!

After reading alot about this issue, one thing has stayed in the back of my mind. "How do i get a hold of a 'server-grade' HDD so that i can back up my stuff?

Really, how do i go about backing up my data so that im not moving it from one time-bomb to another?

Halp...?
So wait... i can follow all of those scary steps and backup my computer and upgrade to W7. Right?

But if its too scary then i can go to Mac... and not have any of my docs and files?

How is that better Phil?!

It'll help take the load off their cell towers and give you a less gimped AT&T 3G experience.
Is that a Japanese Imperial note from when Korea was occupied?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
