Just in time! Come over to WebOS and build us a Facebook app! Palm is rolling out their Facebook app with the launch of the Pixi (the sencond WebOS device) this weekend, but from what we've read so far, it is fairly half-baked with very limited functionality.

I downloaded the iPhone Facebook app on my wifes iPhone a few months ago to check it out. I loved it! Compared to the mobile versions of the site and the other clients out there, it is much more full featured. My wife loves it and uses Facebook much more than she ever did before this app.

If you are leaving the iPhone because of philisophical opposition to Apple's controlling policies, why not jump to the most developer friendly, open, forward thinking smartphone platform available? Buy a Pre (or Pixi), download the Mojo SDK, and you'll be writing apps in no time!
Please pick me; My dog will never forgive you!
I guess I could use it for a few months until the Pre comes out!
Please to pick I for wiener. Many thank yous.
There is a great piece of freeware that DOES make those cool Photo Mosaic images that form another image... Its called MacOSaiX and it is one of my all-time favorite freeware programs. It is available here: http://homepage.mac.com/knarf/MacOSaiX/
Remember the famous words of Senator Tom Daschle - "To Professionalize, you must Federalize".

Thank g-d for those professional TSA employees and their professionalized management structure. Its only a shame that the unprofessional folks at Apple Computers dared to produce such a device that might compromise our nation's interests. If only the government would take over the design and manufacturing of our computers. Until then, Apple really should rename the Mac Book Pro to the Mac Book Civilian.

We got the last laugh on Daschle though: No Apple stores in South Dakota!
I like the part when that guy screams really loud.
surfing engadget of course!!!
Hmm, so it's not iTV, its Apple TV, and it doesn't actually have a TV tuner... Hopefully they'll get this one right the second time around.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
