I like the nod to the "Tim and Eric Awesome Show" in that photo.

Thank you Jesus. At least one company has the freakin' business sense to come out with plan that BEATS the competition. I can't stand big companies and their idea of "we'll match it." That doesn't make me want to switch if I end up paying the same price.

But thank you Sprint, I might have to switch now.
What the hell happened to competition? Verizon = $99, ATT = $99!? Freakin' price things LOWER than the competition. That's how you get customers (a la Circuit City 110% Price match).

Hopefully (maybe), T-Mobile or Alltel will get it right and price it at $70, or even $99 but include messaging.
I really wish Metro PCS existed in the DC/Baltimore Metro Area. I would switch in a heartbeat.
Holy CRAP!!!! $3000!!!!! for the SSD version. WHAT?!?!?!?!
In before the comments get "Block"-ed.
Can this system be used without the monthly service? Think car alarm for my house, except a whole lot louder. I just need something that I can install myself, doesn't use wires, and I can have window and door alarms. I just want something that's going to wake me up with a noise at night if something happens.

Or if anyone knows of any suggestions of kits that are already like this, let me know. Thanks.
I guess I deal with getting one.
Forget the watch. Why not just implant the RFID in my skull?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
