My two cents to the ZiPhone issue:
- I agree that if the code has been taken with no credit it is unmoral.
But on the other hand Zibri added some value for "non geeks" like me, a GUI and the software presents itself in a much less discouraging way. I wish the original developers, whomever they might be, also put some effort in making their tool EASY to use. That makes a real difference, believe it or not, for most users.
So my opinion is that, as far as I know, Zibri filled a "hole" in the original develpment creating an easy to use, under the same roof (jailbreak and unlock) solution for the average user with no knowledge about "command lines" (people without that knowledge exist, you know...).
