I could be wrong, but didn't Apple "sneak" in a Mac mini update last time it got a refresh? I'm sure they would want to anounce a brand new design (per rumors), but if it's just getting a processor bump and the new nVidia graphics options it may not be worthy of keynote time.
GAH!! I just bought iLife about a month ago -- and I would say it could be better. Now they want me to pay another $79 to upgrade? Bummed.
Okay to answer your question... you bet we know what F-bomb means in Canada! We probably coined the phrase (well maybe not, but we like it). And as far as a bad product name: if I have a kick-a** gaming laptop, why not express it with some gusto! I'd buy this one BECAUSE it's the F-bomb.

What is more unfortunate is the company name, Eurocom. Last time I checked Canada is not part of Europe.
Mmmmmm.... Mac Pro. I'm a PC guy all day, that is until these hit the street. I can't wait to get one of these and have been running my sad PC into the ground in the process. I'm really excited to seen OSX and XP dual booted... run OSX for productivity, XP for games (because there are still not enough full compatible MAC games out there and the ones that are are more expensive).

I hope they confirgure this to be compatible with all the juicey GPU options out their (ahem... SLI ... ehem).
Good catch WedgeTalon! Though I think I'd give up my couch for this spread of goodies... good luck getting my fiance to go along with that though.
Being from Canada, I like ot see that we are getting a little extra love from Sony (just kidding). By the way, they may have decided to include DivX in Canada because our copyright laws are a little more lax. We are okay to own "copied" versions of songs, movies, etc., though it is still illegal to distribute them.
Can Canadians win too? We don't win anything at the Olympics (except hockey and curling and curling isn't even really a sport) so we should be able to win a phone.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
