Did they do anything in the specs about the dire quality of A2DP and the lack of wideband microphone support?
I see no problem with this, they are showing the increase in quality over the supplied cables with the gear, and you will be sure that nothing in the store comes with a hdmi cable in the box.

I have seen the same thing with component cables in the past, and the display copy is very carefully worded to be 100% legit.
So many people I know have to cover those light up logos up if they want to use their laptops in class that its a wonder that apple still persist with the kitch branding exercise on their lids.
So is the 3g coverage less then the GPRS coverage? Thats weird, most other places the 3g is better because of the greater number of sites required.

Many people I know can only use umts because they have a site right outside their house for it, but no gsm site for a kilometer or so, so they get poor signal inside.

Seems a bit backwards if they are providing more signal for gsm then 3g.
Europe came out with the scart plug - the worst connector ever made IMO.

There is already a nice workable mini usb compatible plug used by HTC, which has the other connectors as well for the audio and stuff - that to me is the way to go, but make a higher current part of the standard so that actual chargers can charge at a decent rate vs the 500mA crap that USB offers.

Make sure that the phones are able to negotiate for power when plugged into USB even when totally flat, so that it doesnt end up like a razr where you can charge it till you let it get totally dead, then you have to find a charger.
They should just put a massive 6" high ticker across the bottom of all analog stations from now till the new cut off. Have it there all the time, over the news info tickers, over the sports scores, over the boobies on tv (oh yeah, you dont get that on free tv in the states ;) )

Make it virtually unwatchable because of it. That should drive people to finally make the shift.

Besides, couldnt the stations have switched already? Surely if it was in their interests to be on digital only they would have already done it?
The problem is with spectrum, and HSPA is more efficiant with it then the older protocols used for GPRS and EDGE - its a finite resource and IMO better put to use on the current handsets. It was known that 2.5G was on the way out when the first iPhone was released, yet the sheep bought into it no matter.

They only have themselves to blame for this. The sooner the obsolete GSM/EDGE goes away, the sooner that the 3g coverage will suck less. Just be glad that in the states you dont have to put up with 2100MHz UMTS and its crap building penetration like we have to in NZ - the low band stuff is just coming online now from vodafone and its all telecom's new network will be supporting (no crappy GSM!)
Make the 22" have a decent res screen on it. Noone wants low res 1680x1050 on a 22 - thats barely passable on a 20.

Extend the range to have a 18", 20" too, and make them all wall mountable. Since they are mainly used to watch video on, how about 16:9 panels rather then 16:10.

Also I agree on a non touch option, makes an ideal alternate to getting an imac and then having to put vista on it so it will run stuff.
Had similar ones from ecobulb here in nz for at least 5 months. I got some since they are supposed to be the "best" available.

Still have a warm up time with a colour shift over it, still are more pink then a normal lamp and still dont seem to last any longer then an incandesent when switching often, which being energy efficiant means you do.
Except I normally use my thumbs on the touchpad since my thinkpad has buttons above the pad as well (designed to match the stick in the keyboard) - multifingering the pad is not something I ever want to do since that means moving my hands, which is inefficiant.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
