YES. i agree, the first xbox controllers, the giant ones were basically dreamcast controllers on steroids and with a lame sticker instead of a cool LCD on the memory card.
i'd like a ZD back, but it doesnt do ISO 25,600 equivalent!!

i don't need the D3(yet) but i do want it so bad. i'd rather drop the 5Gs on some fast glass for now though.
"Let's take a look at the Panasonic FZ18: 28-504mm / 2.8-3.1. Canon SX100: 36-360mm / 2.8-4.3. Sony DSC-T200: 35-175mm / 3.5 - 4.4."

actually, those are equivalents... the actual focal lengths are much smaller, (like 6mm etc etc)
i doubt your sony has a 24x16mm sensor and can be carried around in a (jacket) pocket without bein noticed
hey they need to get funding somehow.. it's either dupe the public or dupe the pentagon. and DARPA probably has something like this already so they have to bring their circus to the streets.
maybe it's just the photonerd speaking, but i could see a use for light-painting IR with this.
somethign about a fool and his money come to mind
@bugmat WTF?

as long as you dont upgrade RAM or HDD from the apple store, which is admittedly a very huge rip-off, macs are pretty competitive with the mid-high to high-end laptop market which is where they are aimed.
here's hoping, Mark! i've got the same one.
yep. totally agree. if anyone knows how to go over 25 in D.F. in the daytime, let me know how and i'll try it out next time :-p
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
