Oh no...the hockey puck mouse! Just looking at that things gives my right hand cramps. Worst. Mouse. Ever.
Robert Moses, the infamous New York City planner whose grip on power made Dick Cheney look like a pencil pushing bureaucrat. Not only is it a compelling story of corruption by power, but you'd also get great visuals of the massive public works projects he created: Triborough Bridge, Cross-Bronx Expressway, Lincoln Center, Verazzano Bridge, etc.
Remember that the tool is only as good as the person who knows how to use it. I love Keynote and its effects, ease of use, etc., but if you don't know how to design and deliver an effective presentation and pack your Keynote full of bulleted text and just read off the slides, then you're no better off than PowerPoint.

Use pictures, less text. Don't expect people to read handouts/text on screen AND listen to your blabbing at the same time. Have a big enough screen so that everyone in the room can actually see. Etc. Etc.

I will say that Keynote does save a presentation from the PowerPoint pitfall of the Cheesy Effect. Seriously, what was the rationale at Microsoft for all of those awful sound effects and animations?
Batman Returns certainly wasn' t the only winter themed superhero movie. Not even the only winter themed Batman movie.

Mr. Freeze, anyone?

"Chill out."
Forget monitors...have any of you ever tried to hook a laptop up to a projector for a presentation? No more "15 foot VGA cable/limbo line of danger" strung across the room.

...and how much hAAARRRRRd drive space will it take up?
NYC update: Lines at Apple Stores are still long, and they're starting to run out of phones. The blog "Racked" has a good update:

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
