Fact is Nokia has already stated they will add portrait mode in a future firmware update, plus Maemo 6 will have it baked in out of the box. So this is all moot.
I want someone to tell me what is wrong with winmo 6.5 beyond the UI.
Funny how if Chris' machine is fine then the rest is an isolated problem. Of course if it was another manufacturer you would practicaly run a petiton to boycott then and include smartass comments.
Any Cupertino product fault is brushed under the rug quickly.
If it was so cool, why didnt we hear much about it from engadget? You diss winmo so much anyone would think there was nothing good in it.

Point out the good stuff once in a while then maybe the company might not think no one wants it and shuts it down.

There are cool "apps" for winmo too, just not all in one convinient place to be lauding it up everytime they reach new millionth download.
So by your reasoning Samuel, military use is awesome instead of good use which is average. right?

Interesting.
Indeed.

Cant remember the last time some Swedes pulled out the stops to defend another product from the "opinions and soundbites" brigade.

Nice double standards Engadget authors involved.
Apple device issues = rumours, not everyone is affected, we have to have proof, only anecdocal - simply put, its not true so it must be fake, they are infallible.

Other manufacturer issues = lets get the pitchforks and torches out, make damning article headlines, make snide jokes and comments, proof? who needs it? we dont like them anyways. - simply put, if you aint St. Apple, you dont get a chance, you die.

yes, a generalization and abit unfair, but i aint the first and wont be the last. i find the double standards quite disgusting.

I think they want it more like Meizu so they can change "underwhelms" to "icopy", it makes better news that way.

These article writers really surprise me, its like reading tabloid newspaper articles written by people that should know ALOT better.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
