I have an iPhone 3G that could use some extra juice! ::rolls dice::
Could definitely use this. Count me in!
Myself and several friends/family have been using Netflix for a good 3-4 years now, and our damage/unplayable rate is extremely low. Sometimes a disc will come it that's scratched or cracked beyond playability, but it's always been replaced quickly. Only been using the Blu-Ray service with them for a few months, so haven't taken out a huge number of discs, but no problems so far. I'll keep an eye out though.
Well, looks like I'll be downgrading from my 3-disc service to the 2-disc plan in order to get myself back to the price I was at. Lately I've been finding myself watching more hours on their streaming service than on discs anyway.

I'm sure Netflix will be carefully watching the response, and seeing how many people cut back or cancel their service, versus how many new subscriptions or Blu-ray upgrades they get, and they'll adjust in the future accordingly.

In a world where people are paying $3 for an iTunes download, or $5 for the "HD" version of the download, people may not mind paying about $1/disc extra on Netflix instead of a "general" upgrade fee for Blu-ray access.

I'm not wild about the price hike, but I can understand where they're coming from. In my experience, Netflix has top-notch customer service, so I'm sure they don't want to add more cost to the customer than is needed.
Boy mom, you sure can hydrate a pizza...
I'll take it! Pick me! ::Raises hand and waves it wildly::
Will Woz dance with this on the air if I win it?
I'm always up for a few free Blu-rays!
Or, for just a couple bucks more, you can get the Snowflake mic from Blue and have a mic that's worth using (and looking at)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
