Apr 28th 2009 1:49AM Judging by the abundance of mysterious "iphone" user agent generated caches with non-standard ~213 pixel screens, Apple will indeed be releasing a smaller iphone soon. Testing appears to be in progress or something...

Dean Kamen wrestles with decision: should he quit the Segway? {Engadget}
Jan 12th 2009 6:09PM It may have been ahead of its time on Dec. 2, 2001, but it's not ahead of its time now. DSPs and FPGAs are now cheap and are commonly-used for motor and motion control now. And Lithium ion battery pack prices have also dropped dramatically.

APPLE: Where the heck is OLED?
Why can't you make the iPhone thinner, more rugged, longer-lasting-per-charge, and more vivid by implementing an OLED display?
What is slowing you down, here? Pixel denisty? Why not speak up so the market can at least try to solve your problem before yet another THICK iphone is released? If it isn't OLED pixel density which is slowing you down, surely then it's not the limited life expectancy of OLED displays which worries you, given that your batteries only last 2-3 years?
