Mar 27th 2008 10:26PM Hey, if I win this, can I sell the tickets for a brand new Courier 56K modem? I have a tough time loading your pages on my 1200 baud modem....

Palm's unnamed device: the Treo 755p for Verizon? {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 10th 2007 7:43PM Look, if I don't want a 42" flat screen LCD TV it isn't going to matter what Samsung or Sharp or RCA put out. I'm not in that consumer group.

If you aren't looking for a Palm OS-based smartphone and don't care whether you're on Verizon or not, don't be a troll and let it go already. Yeah, there are lots of 'pretty phones' out there that do all kinds of stuff.

Yawn.

I am tired of carrying a Palm around and a phone around and the 755P is the first marriage of both that works for me. Yeah, I'll be there when Verizon offers it (and I don't need nor want an iphone, nor Crackberry, nor Juke, nor anything else), and I'll never use Windows Mobile. Oh, and my eyes are too old for a Centro --- that's a kids' phone.

So realize that the 755p is what it is, and if you aren't interested, move along there, Johnny.

Apple quietly releases iTunes 7.0.1 {Engadget}

Sep 29th 2006 3:11PM And it sucketh mightily.

It looks like Apple has picked up a bunch of laid-off Microsoft Millenium Edition programmers for this kludge of an 'upgrade.'

Strips album art from older ipods, and skips all the time in the Windows environment, regardless of the quality of the tracks.

Can't listen to music in iTunes on my Windows system anymore.

Thanks, Apple. And I was just getting ready to replace my PC's with MACs.

Palm set to announce Treo 700p for Sprint on May 15th {Engadget Mobile}

Apr 5th 2006 3:24PM This is the first converged device which might actually make me upgrade my Palm T|3. Nothing Palm has put out since the T|3 really fits the bill.

Of course, by the time Verizon gets it, first quarter '07?, who knows what else will be out there....
