That sounds like the teachings of Yoda !
May the Force be with you
PC : Hey Mac you should be more like me, when you get me you just know that is the best I will ever be, I will progressively get slower. Newer versions will come out but they will have even more problems.
In all fairness OSX was pretty unusable when it first came out, I use a Mac and love my MacBook but my first experience with OSX on my iBook was pretty poor no DVD app, had to use the classic one.
Vista will get better, my main gripe with it at the moment is why does it insist on hammering the hard drive in sleep mode ? my Wife's laptop recently up/down graded to Vista and the batteries last a fraction of the time that they did under XP.
It will be interesting to compare pricing on the French / German iPhone with respect to UK pricing. Will it be just us or the rest of Europe that Apple applies there crazy currency conversion policy to.
I love Apple products and this looks to be no exception, but this US - UK currency conversion is just plain annoying, treat us with a little more respect Apple!!!
I guess I will wait until they give it a more realistic price, you never know it might be 3G by then.
Mystery Swag Bag ooh tempting !!!
If this is anything like the Philips TV / DVD / Speaker system that I have at home it will be a total flop. I used to have an old Sony setup that worked perfectly, Dixons had a good deal on this system so I decided to "upgrade" you would have thought that the different components of the system were made on different planets, the whole experience was and still is a nightmare. Philips just dont do user friendly.
I have used Apple equipment for 14 years and never needed tech support but have experienced tech support with HP, which I can say in my experience is very good. Although this was only for a printer which I purchased from PCWorld on the bargain shelf. When the printer started playing up it was still in the warrantee period but having phoned HP I found out the warrantee had started about 2 months before I purchased it, what PCWorld did'nt say was that it was a customer return. After providing HP with purchase info they provided a replacement with no problem, even though technically it was out of warrantee. Thumbs up HP.
It is funny that everyone is complaining about the price of Apple hardware and no one complains about the price of Windows software, a quick look on Amazon UK shows XP Pro to be £233.99 and OSX to be £86.99 even the cut down home edition of XP is more than OSX at £94.99 now who would want to pay over doubble the price for an antiquated, virus prone piece of software when for a bargain price you can have a modern, safe and reliable operating system.... No Brainer
A Treo for me please, not fussy which one, just to win something for once would be great!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
