Google buying Layar in 3..2..1..
I just tried it and I saw quite a bit of graphical lags and the image was grained a bit, it did not improve my performance, it the contrary my cpu utilization on 1080p youtube went from 35% on 10.0 to 45% on 10.1. I see however how this can be a better approach just don't expect any real quality or performance increases immediately.
Never mind the weight, I wonder if the TV's survive all the sweat build up when the guyphones are actually at a party.

I must hand it to them, it's one of the best tech costumes ever.
Wow, it looks so awesome in operation that after watching the video I still have no idea what the hell it does.... :)

I wonder if Microsoft will now make sure that all their webbased products will also be compatible with all the browsers they offer through the ballot, if this means Sharepoint can be used on Firefox I will be a happy man!
Ok, it looks cool. But in all fairness this must be terrible for your neck, it would be better in a slightly tilted angle, sure I'm jealous but that's not the point....
If some decent hardware company would spend some time then this thing can be easily shrunk inside a button, this device is huge...
Wow, a game changing concept.

I do wonder how this could be done commercially, if a server would be hosting Crysis it wouldn't be capable of running a lot of sessions simultaneously and I don't think people will pay a large monthly fee to have their own dedicated server, but then again I assume these guys thought that through.....
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
