Jeebus, I pretty much just worked a lot. No orgies or illicit drug use. Don’t think I even skimmed pr0n at work. So, Nice.

Also, if I win, who wants A Crack in Time, since I’ve got a copy already?
@KingFaisal94 I don’t know about other laptops/netbooks/things-bigger-than-an-iPod-classic, but the MacBook Air also uses a 1.8" drive instead of a 2.5"
Yeah wait. If the whole OS is open source, shouldn’t someone (or lots of someones) be able to create an app/utility to enable tethering without Verizon knowing?
Maybe those are a bad example because the iPhone & iPod touch already have them covered, but he has a point: some things are nice to do without having to look at the screen. I think the iPhone could use some more buttons too, if for nothing else, so I could assign shortcuts. It’d be great, if instead of picking one function each for double- and triple-clicking the home button, I had an extra two buttons on each side. I could make one Camera, one Phone Favorites, one iPod, etc. Also, a dedicated camera shutter button might be useful too.

On the other hand, I would be *extremely* surprised if future iPhones gained any buttons, especially on the front. The design is really iconic, and I don’t think Steve or his successors will change it any time soon.
“…breaking out brand new accessories without an event to back them up isn't really Apple's style.”

What on earth are you talking about? Was there an event for the Mighty Mouse? The iSight? Accessories don’t get events.
Most of the scuttlebutt on the Apple thing say it’ll be more like a giant iPhone, with full color, multitouch, and way more multimedia/app capabilities than what’s in the e-reader market. But of course, that also means a big glowy battery-sucking screen instead of a power-sipping easy-on-the-eyes e-ink display. I read a lot of PDFs with color figures, so the latter might be better for me in the end, if the price isn’t insane.
If it’s not Apple, lots of people will pay attention, just not as many as if it is Apple. I’ll certainly pay attention no matter who it is. I amass ridiculous amounts of PDFs; would love to stop using paper (while still being able to read in bed); and still am not convinced that what I need is on the market yet.
Um, gonna read a lot of science and analyze some data, since I'm in grad school. Gonna buy either Uncharted 2 or the new Ratchet & Clank, maybe Katamari Forever. Gonna take my wife to anniversary dinner on a farm.

And as far as the rocking goes, I’ll rent Brütal Legend & buy it if I like it.

Oh, and maybe I’ll write at least one heartfelt plea to Hammers of Misfortune about getting The Bastard onto Rock Band DLC. Though if I win this, I’ll settle for RB or GH.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
