A few years ago, when 2GB SD cards were damned expensive, I ordered one from Buy.com for $100. 3 days later, I got two identical envelopes in the mail, both with 2GB SD cards. I called customer support, but the guy on the other end of the phone said, "Dude, just keep it!"

I use Quicksilver to run all of my apps.

BTW, I just noticed that after Photoshop CS3, my dock is incredibly blue.

The power adapter has problems melting...I've gone through two already. Mine have melted by the magsafe adapter. The latest one I got seemed slightly redesigned, so I have high hopes that it won't happen again.

Fiber at a lower cost than cable would definately get me off of cable. And I live in Kansas! This is a good sign.

"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
