From what I gather from the research paper, the current system produces traces with only 3% the conductivity of current copper traces. It's a start, but we're not going to be printing circuit boards on t-shirts with our Deskjets anytime soon.
I imagine it's called "perv04.pdf" because it was submitted to the http://www.pervasive2004.org/, the Pervasive Computing conference.
This is great, I can't wait for it to come out.
One of the most difficult issues in making the Roomba a general robotics platform is mounting things onto it. Just having those 6-32 mounting holes will help tremendously.

#2 (AJ) : The range of these Bluetooth modules is several hundred feet. They have a Class 1 power rating, which means they transmit at 100mW. I've easily managed >50ft.
