Why can't someone just say it? Whatever Apple is doing screwing around, they appear to have dropped the ball on this one.
Leaning into the mic, "First I'd like to thank the academy, my mom (love you, mom), and all my incredible fans out there. You're the best!"
Enough of the Apple excuses. I've owned a dozen Macs since the Plus and I've watch the quality slide. My new MacBook has been exchanged once (still has issues) and my iPhone has been exchanged five times (that's five!). If this trend continues they've lost my loyalty. Period.
Given the timing (or belated timing) this seems to relate most to demonstrating active defense of Apple's IP for what seems to be an inevitable showdown with Palm's Web OS. Had this been a true concern for Apple they could have taken this action many months ago.
Geeezish. Mac users can be as cheap *ss as PC users. For what this does if you can't recoup your investment in about... uh... 90 seconds then you all are in the wrong biz. Don't blame the developers for your own meager existence. Get a real job and stop complaining about some of the finest software yet to touch the Mac. /eoc
The thing experience tells me for sure about another GE product is, PR photos aside, it will have feel like crap, look like crap, and perform ...you guess it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
