I love my Vista but my wife would also love it on her computer too!
I say hold off on shitty iTunes... Vista Ultimate rocks once you've had it in your hands!
My Toshiba tablet PC with Windows Vista is truely the ultimate. Bill is right, Tablet PC's are the way of the future! Once you go tablet, you will never go back.
I smell bullshit! I've left my Zune on the charger for over a week while I was out of town and it isn't even warm to the touch. I bet the second part of the article is the real truth, people who dropped their Zune and the screen cracked are more likely than not.
Who would have known that Apple and its fanboys could be pushy?
"silent moral superiority" – ROFL, silent would mean that you don’t go plastering your “moral superiority” on the web you loud-mouthed moral iDiot.

Its more like egotistic, self absorbed, small minded fanboys who feel better about their crappy mac computer by pointing out the obvious missing components about other products. Oh wait *sarcasm* my computer actually plays the worlds most popular games (a little something fanboys downplay because their itunes and ipod is all they need in a computer). Most of us use our computers for more advanced things than just playing music.

* "Wifi is crippled"
- When your ipod gets wifi, let me know, we'll compare the features then
* "Fatter and uglier"
- Its got a larger screen, of course its gonna be a tad larger. If it came with a smaller screen and was lighter than the 30gb ipod, all the fanboys would be jumping on the "oh, it has a tiny screen" bandwagon.
* "Locked in"
- When your ipod battery takes a shit after 18 months, what other product can you transfer your paid music too? You can’t, you are locked in for life buying crappy ipods, but who cares if its crappy, everyone will see how “cool” you *think* you are which makes ipods completely worth it.

Anything that doesn't have a crappy apple logo is gonna be considered "evil" and "worse" to the fanboys out there regardless if it offers more features and is more customizable. So fanboys, instead of posting unbiased *sarcasm* opinions on tech blogs, why don't you focus on gaining more than 5% of the desktop market.
Macbook pro's have lost my trust with this post. I have had over 10 pc laptops in the last 8 years and none of them have taking a crap over the 5 years I've used them non-stop.
I am always looking for the latest and greatest gizmos on the market and although I have tried the Apple MacBook and ultimately returned it and stuck with Windows Vista, this device has peaked my interest and even though I hated cingular service where I live (small-town Oregon), I will probably be trying this device out and keep it if it delivers as promised! My decision will be based on functionality, not just the so-called "cool factor."
Apple TV is crap in a package and its DOA. 720p is horrible, thinking "different" is more like "thinking backwards." Xbox 360 with 1080i is the way of the future, IPTV is going to give the crappy cable companies a run for their $$$ and video on demand services are gonna rule the next generation of TV. Did I mention, the IPTV is gonna be 1080i, not the older 720 which has been around for years and years.
You will some, you loose some. But in the end, its the fact that you tried...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
